## Purpose

This article gives a compact overview of configured profiles and how they connect to streams, pre-streams, and metadata sets.

## Notes

- `Main stream` is the stream executed by the profile.
- `Pre-stream` is optional and runs before the main stream.
- `Pre-node filter` applies to the pre-stream.
- `Node filter` applies to the main stream.
- `Metadata set` defines which metadata fields are shown or available for the profile.
- Hidden profiles are usually helper or sub-profiles and are not meant as primary user-facing actions.
